NATIONAL NOTES

• Division III student-athletes will compete for NCAA Indoor Track & Field national titles at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama
• Sofia Moukaddem is the fourth-ever Ram female to make it to indoor NCAAs, first since Amalia Dorion did so a year ago. 
• Moukaddem is the first-ever Suffolk women to run the 5000 at the indoor national championship. 
• The blue-and-gold has only been represented at indoor nationals by long-distance runners. 

5K FACTS

• Sofia Moukaddem posted her 5000 qualifying time of 16:57.55 at Tufts' Last Chance Qualifier March 7. 
• The performance, a personal-best for the junior, sits 19th in the NCAA Division III this season.

Sofia Moukaddem will race at 4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 13.

• The top-8 from each event at NCAAs secures All-American status.
