BOSTON – Sofia Moukaddem of the Suffolk women's outdoor track & field team took her talents to La Crosse, Wisconsin for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The junior is scheduled to compete in the 10,000 Thursday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m.

NATIONAL NOTES

• Division III student-athletes will compete for NCAA Outdoor Track & Field national titles at the Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex
• Sofia Moukaddem is the third-ever female Ram to compete at outdoor nationals, first since Amalia Dorion did so a year ago
• Moukaddem is the first-ever Suffolk women to run the 10,000 at the outdoor national championship.  

10K FACTS

• Sofia Moukaddem posted her 10,000 qualifying time of 35:20.76 at Bryan Clay Invitational April 16
• The performance, a personal-best for the junior, sits 13th in NCAA Division III this season and is the second-best time in the East this year

Sofia Moukaddem will race at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21  

WHAT'S AT STAKE

• The top-16 from each event at NCAAs secures All-American status, broken down into first team (1-8) and second-team (9-16)
• The winner of each event will be the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Champion in that respective event.   

QUALIFYING QUOTES
For the second straight season and third time in Suffolk women's outdoor track & field's history, a Ram will head to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships as junior Sofia Moukaddem heard her named called in the official field in the 10,000.

REGIONAL RAMS
Suffolk women's outdoor track & field saw two Rams scoop up U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association All-East distinction in Grace Miller and Sofia Moukaddem, the national organization announced. Miller was acknowledged for her 3000 Steeplechase performance, while Moukaddem grabbed two awards in the 5000 and 10,000, respectively.
