BOSTON – Suffolk baseball takes a break from Conference of New England (CNE) competition Thursday, May 1 when it visits Wheaton for a 4:00 p.m. non-league tilt.

Suffolk baseball rallied late to come back and take down Gordon, 8-6, in Conference of New England play at J. Tec White Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk moved to 13-21 on the season after it bested Gordon, 8-6, Tuesday.  

The Rams offense output has been well-balanced with five different bats responsible for 30-plus hits individually in Sam Armbruster (34 H, 20 RBI, 14 R), Chris Cimino (33 H, 18 RBI, 16 R), Max Martin (33 H, 27 RBI, 20 R), Colin Flynn (31 H, 8 RBI, 15 RBI) and Max Iorio (30 H, 23 RBI, 22 R).

With CNE contests looming this weekend, Suffolk may use a staff day on Thursday, however TJ Dimitriou (44.1 IP, 4.87 ERA, 28 K), Nolan Drew (13.0 IP, 8.31 ERA, 10 K), Harry Meehan (32.0 IP, 5.63 ERA, 17 K) and Pierce Salbego (55.2 IP, 3.07 ERA, 43 K) should all be well-rested enough to be options. 

LYONS LOOK
Wheaton is 18-17 on the season and enters Thursday's tilt after a 17-10 loss at Babson. 

The twosome of Casey Wensley (59 H, 30 RBI, 40 R) and Timmy Wagner (52 H, 52 RBI, 34 R) have been the most productive bats at the plate for the Lyons' 243-run offense.  

Jack Ritchie (5.14 ERA, 14.0 IP, 13 K) and Jack Cali (3.2 IP, 9.82 ERA, 1 K) are the most well-rested starts for Wheaton.
