The 2018 Rams Reflect is the third in a series of annual collections. Senior captains and representatives of Suffolk teams have been invited to contribute viewpoints based on personal experience from both their senior seasons and full varsity careers at Suffolk.
Three members of the Suffolk men’s soccer team have earned All-GNAC honors, the conference office announced Monday. Christian Restrepo highlights the Rams’ selections with a second team section with Jordan Casey and James Fisher earning spots on the third team.
Sophomore midfielder JoJo Strobino snapped a scoreless stalemate with a goal off a corner kick in the 63rd minute to lift top-seeded Saint Joseph’s (Maine) past #8 Suffolk, 1-0, in a hotly-contest GNAC Men’s Soccer Tournament Quarterfinal at SJC Athletics Complex Sunday afternoon.
The Suffolk men’s soccer team will travel to Standish, Maine, this weekend to compete in the 2017 GNAC Men’s Soccer Tournament Quarterfinals. The No. 8 seed Rams will take on the top seed, unbeaten regular season champion Saint Joseph’s (Maine) Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. at the SJC Athletics Complex.

Suffolk men’s soccer will be making its fourth consecutive appearance in the GNAC Tournament as the conference announced the bracket with the Rams taking the No. 8 seed.

In a non-conference matchup, the Suffolk men’s soccer team heads to neutral site, Danehy Park in Cambridge, Massachusetts for a matchup with the Lesley Lynx Sunday, Oct. 22. The out of league contest is set for 12 p.m. start.
With one conference contest remaining for the Rams and the GNAC standings not yet finalized, Suffolk men’s soccer heads to Lasell for a Tuesday (Oct. 17) tilt. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
With eight seconds remaining in regulation and the score locked at 2-all, Jackson Hines buried a header off a Rams’ corner to push the Suffolk men’s soccer team over Lasell, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon at Taylor Field to clinch a GNAC playoff spot for the rams.
Suffolk men’s soccer fell behind 3-0 early and could not make up enough ground as Norwich went on to take a 5-2 win over the Rams in the third annual Rams Fan Fest at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Saturday afternoon.
