The 2019 Suffolk volleyball team secured its spot a top of the Rams’ all-time wins list as the blue-and-gold put together a thrilling five-set decision over Saint Joseph’s (Maine) Saturday afternoon at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The historic regular-season triumph came via set scores 29-27, 25-15, 21-25, 21-25 and 15-11.

Suffolk volleyball looks to make history this weekend as it closes its regular-season calendar one-win shy of the program record of victories as Simmons and Saint Joseph’s (Maine) visits Ridgeway Saturday, Nov. 2. The Rams, who will honor the playing careers of its two graduating players – Kaleigh Khanna and Sarah Mullahy – prior to first serve, open the day at 11 a.m. against the Sharks and conclude the action versus the Monks at 3 p.m.

Two wins away from a program record, Suffolk volleyball takes its talents to West Hartford, Connecticut, for a GNAC tri-match at Saint Joseph (Conn.) featuring Rivier Saturday, Oct. 26. The Rams will first take on the hosts Blue Jays at 11 a.m., before wrapping up the day against the Raiders at 1 p.m.

Suffolk volleyball suffered its first Saturday loss since August by the hands of Keene State. The Owls defeated the Rams in straight sets via scores 25-19, 25-15 and 25-13.

Suffolk volleyball remains out of league action and on the road this weekend as it makes the trip to Keene, New Hampshire for a tri-match at Keene State featuring UMass Dartmouth Saturday, Oct. 19. The Rams open the day at 2 p.m. against the Corsairs and wrap up action in the Granite State against the hosts Owls at 4 p.m.

Suffolk Athletics will hold its first annual Support Ram Nation Day, Friday, Oct. 25. The 24-hour day of giving is an online/mobile fundraiser support Suffolk Athletics and its 19 varsity support teams.

Suffolk volleyball saw its five-match win streak come to a halt Wednesday night to the hands of nationally ranked Johnson & Wales. The No. 17 Wildcats swept the Rams in GNAC action by set scores 25-11, 25-8 and 25-11.

Suffolk volleyball will play for a cause this Saturday, Sept. 28 as it hosts its second tri-match in as many weeks when Norwich and Western New England make the trip to Beacon Hill for the Rams’ Lace Up for Pediatric Cancer event. Action gets underway at 11 a.m. with the lone GNAC match of the day featuring Suffolk versus the Cadets with the blue-and-gold wrapping up play at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court at 3 p.m. against the Golden Bears.
