  • Men’s Hockey Places 13 on Academic All-CCC Team

    Suffolk men’s hockey saw 13 of its student-athletes be recognized for their efforts inside the classroom with a spot on the 2018 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Spring All-Academic Team, the league office unveiled Monday afternoon.

    Days away from its first Commonwealth Coast Conference postseason appearance, Suffolk men’s hockey will give its fans an insider’s look at its 2017-18 squad, as well as a journey back through the program’s past with records and results dating back to the 1999-200 season in the Rams’ first-official media guide.

    The Suffolk men’s hockey team is set to make the trip to No. 11 Endicott Saturday, Feb. 17 for its first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference postseason contest. The quarterfinals clash is set for a 3 p.m. puck drop at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
  • Men’s Hockey Earns Seeded Seventh in CCC Tournament

    For the first time in Suffolk men’s hockey history, the Rams have earned a place in the Commonwealth Coast Conference post season as the blue-and-gold earned the seventh seed in the upcoming conference tournament. Suffolk will take on No. 8/9 Endicott, who is seeded second, in the quarterfinals Saturday, Feb. 17 at 3 p.m. at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

    Fresh off a weekend sweep of Becker, the Suffolk men’s hockey readies for a weekend home-and-home series with Curry. The Rams will first host the Colonels Friday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. at Emmons Horrigan O’Neil Memorial Rink, before traveling to Max Ulin Rink in Milton, Massachusetts, Saturday, Jan. 27 for a 4:50 p.m. match up.

    Thanks to three unanswered goals in the third period, including a pair from Mikhail Bryan, the Suffolk men’s hockey team came back to take down Becker, 4-3, Saturday night at Fidelity Worcester Ice Center. The win secured the CCC regular season series sweep for the Rams over the Hawks.

    The Suffolk men’s hockey team turns back to Commonwealth Coast Conference competition as the Rams are in store for a home-and-home series with Becker this weekend. Suffolk will first entertain the Hawks Friday, Jan. 19 at Emmons Horrigan O’Neil Memorial Rink before traveling to the Fidelity Ice Center in Worcester Saturday, Jan. 20. Both conference contests are set for 7 p.m. puck drops.
