A total of 127 Suffolk University student-athletes posted a grade point average of 3.00 or higher for the fall semester. Students attaining this grade point average were honored for their accomplishments by being named to the Fall 2013 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll released by Interim Director of Athletics Cary McConnell on Tuesday afternoon.

To be eligible student-athletes must be enrolled in a full-time class load with a minimum of 12 credits and not receive any incomplete grades. 201 student-athletes were enrolled in classes during the fall semester as part of Suffolk’s 13 varsity sports teams.

Overall the department collected a grade point average of 3.132, while each of Suffolk's 13 teams had an average gpa also above the 3.0 scale.

There were six student-athletes who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade-point average on the semester; senior Jennifer Ruys (Wallingford, Conn.) of Women’s Basketball, sophomore Caleb Unni (Winchester, Mass.) of Men’s Basketball, sophomore Rob Marks (Revere, Mass.) of Baseball, sophomore Caitlyn Mockler (Manchester, Conn.) of Volleyball and a pair of Hockey players; junior Brett Roman (Rock Tavern, N.Y.) and freshman Mitch Collum (Lake Placid, N.Y.).
