Mike Boles began his reign as assistant coach of the Suffolk ice hockey team since 2011-12 and begins his sixth season in 2015-16.
Boles, a former Ram himself played for Suffolk for three seasons from 2004-2006. In 68 career games he compiled 38 points (10 goals and 28 assists.) During his senior season Boles was named team captain, and finished the season third in the team with 25 points leading the Rams with 20 assists.
Boles, originally from Montreal, Quebec moved to Hingham at the age of 12 where he was a standout hockey player at Hingham High School. As a junior in 2001, Boles and Hingham captured the Massachusetts Division-I State Championship. A year later Boles helped guide the Harbormen to their first-ever school appearance in the Massachusetts Super-8 Tournament in 2002.
Boles graduated from Suffolk with a bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2007. He currently works at Covidien doing medical sales for the health care company.
Boles currently resides in Hingham.
