BOSTON - Suffolk softball's Commonwealth Coast Conference opener, a twinbill with Western New England, scheduled for Saturday,  March 30 will now be played in Springfield, Massachusetts on the Golden Bear's home diamond, the Golden Bear Softball Park. Game one of the league double feature is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. Although it is on WNE's home field, the blue-and-gold will bat second as the "home" team. 

The action in Western Massachusetts serves as Suffolk's CCC 2024 debut. The Rams are in the hunt for their first CCC-opening win since 2022.
