Suffolk University Events

Throughout the year, many departments at Suffolk University and the Athletic Department unite on different occasions. Below are some of the more notable events going on around campus. 


 Suffolk University Spirit Night

This event is sponsored by the Office of Retention Services, The Student Activities Office, The Office of Residence Life, Off-Campus Housing and the Athletic Department. Transportation is provided (if necessary), free food and beverages, as well as prizes and raffles are all part of the events. Come out and support Suffolk Athletics.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Throughout the month of October Suffolk University creates awareness for a disease than has had an effect on millions of people. Suffolk athletes help raise aware throughout the University through a variety of ways.

Breakfast With Santa

The Suffolk University Athletic Department along with the Student Athletic Advisory Council (SAAC) hosted their annual Breakfast with Santa on Friday, December 5th in the Regan Gymnasium. Sixty youngsters from the Chinatown YMCA were invited to enjoy breakfast and meet Santa. Breakfast was prepared by the coaching staff and the children were served waffles, fresh fruit as well as juice. Suffolk's student-athletes helped serve the meals. Facepainting and arts and crafts were also set up for the children to enjoy. All the children got to tell Santa what was on their Christmas list and each recieved a gift courtesy of the SAAC.

Suffolk University Baseball Golf Tournament

The Suffolk University Baseball team held their third annual Golf Tournamet this past October at the Atlantic Country Club in Plymouth, MA . (click here for more information on this past year's event)


Travis Roy Speech

  The Suffolk University Athletic Department was honored to have Travis Roy come in and speak to the university's student-athletes on January 29, 2009.  The event which took place at Suffolk's C. Walsh Theatre was co-sponsored by Athletics and the Office of Disability Services. Suffolk University's Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) hosted the event.
