54 Rams Earn Academic All-GNAC Status
The GNAC has announced the names of 865 student-athletes – including 54 from Suffolk – who have been named to the 2015-16 Academic All-GNAC Team. The 54 Rams represent the second most all-time for the blue-and-gold and is just two individuals shy of the record (56) since the inaugural team in 2008.

144 Earn Spring 2016 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll
A total of 144 Suffolk University student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the 2016 Spring Quarter. To make the Director’s Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.

GNAC Women’s Basketball Set to Adopt Divisional Play in 2016-17
Beginning with the 2016-17 season, Great Northeast Athletic Conference women’s basketball will shift to divisional play for all conference contests, as announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh on Wednesday morning.

Campellone Picks Up ECAC DIII New England All-Star Selection
Chelsea Campellone of the Suffolk women’s basketball team was one of 11 Division III student-athletes recognized by the ECAC this afternoon as the senior forward was selected to the All-ECAC second team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Campellone Nominated HeroSports DIII Women’s Basketball Performer of the Year
Chelsea Campellone of the Suffolk women’s basketball team is one of 16 student-athletes nominated for HeroSports DIII Women’s Basketball Performer of the Year as announced by herosports.com. Campellone earned the nominated after being named HERO of the Week for her 43-point, 13-rebound effort in an 85-63 win over Lasell during Week 11 of the regular season. Women’s Basketbal Slips in ECAC Semis at WNE, 70-60
Tied at the half, the Suffolk women’s basketball team battled Western New England in the ECAC New England Championship semifinals, but the No. 3 seed Rams could not overcome a third quarter scoring frenzy by the second-seeded Golden Bears, falling, 70-60, inside the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

ECAC Semis on Docket Saturday for #3 Women’s Basketball at #2 Western New England
The Suffolk women’s basketball team will make its eighth ECAC New England Championship appearance Saturday and vie for its first crown as the third-seeded Rams tips off against the tournament’s host and second seed Western New England. The semifinal game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
