For the first time in Suffolk softball’s 34-year history, three Rams garnered all-region accolades from the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association as Delaney Sylvester, Payton Sylvester and Taylor Holmes were named to the northeast teams Wednesday afternoon.
After a stellar season that saw Suffolk softball capture its third GNAC Regular Season Title in the last four years, the Rams placed five players on the All-GNAC teams and yielded the conference Player of the Year, Delaney Sylvester and Rookie of the Year, Payton Sylvester, the league office announced Tuesday.
